ULAB orientation highlights skills and values for future success

Shariful Islam, Founder and Managing Director of Bangladesh Brand Forum, spoke at ULAB's Fall 2025 Freshers' Orientation as a guest speaker on 18 September.
He remarked that students are entering a rapidly changing world shaped by inequality, climate challenges, and the disruptive power of artificial intelligence.
The main takeaway from his address was that future success will require not only digital, communication, sustainability, and teamwork skills, but also values such as integrity, responsibility, respect, compassion, and purpose.
ULAB Vice-Chancellor Professor Imran Rahman and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Jude Genilo welcomed the new students into the university community and urged them to pursue both academic excellence and social responsibility.
