State University of Bangladesh sign MOU with INTI University

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between INTI International University (INTI IU), Malaysia, and the State University of Bangladesh (SUB), marking a new era of academic and research cooperation between the two institutions.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to foster mutual collaboration in various academic fields, thereby creating significant opportunities for both faculty and students. The agreement outlines cooperation in several vital areas, including student and faculty exchange, joint educational and research initiatives, collaborative publications, and the exchange of academic resources. It also includes the establishment of international and research centres and the organization of training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and symposiums. Furthermore, both parties have agreed to work together on QS ranking support, offer fully funded PhD opportunities for SUB faculty, staff, and students, and initiate franchise-based academic programs. Additional mutually beneficial initiatives may also be explored under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU signing ceremony was held in a cordial and professional setting. The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr Akhtar Hossain Khan, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of the State University of Bangladesh, along with Dr. Ahmed Hussain, Registrar; Ms Farhana Sharmin, Senior Deputy Registrar; Professor Anower Hussain, Professor and Acting Head, Department of Public Health; Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering; and Mr Mohammad Omar Faraque, Director (in-Charge), Public Relations.
Professor Dr Khan Sarfaraz Ali, from the Faculty of Business and Communication, represented INTI International University in person. Additionally, Professor Dr Goh Khang Wen, Pro-Vice Chancellor of INTI IU, joined the ceremony virtually and expressed intense enthusiasm for the long-term collaboration.
Both universities expressed optimism that this partnership will contribute to enhancing the quality of higher education, research innovation, and internationalization of academic practices.
