Southeast Bank holds workshop on accurate export transaction reporting in OEMS

Southeast Bank PLC recently organised a training workshop titled "Importance of timely and errorless reporting of Export transactions in Online Export Monitoring System (OEMS)" for the representative officials of its exporter clients.
The workshop was held at the Bank's Training Institute, where 70 (seventy) representative officials of the exporter clients of various AD branches of the Bank in Dhaka participated. The workshop's primary objective was to highlight the procedures and importance of timely and accurate reporting in the Bangladesh Bank's Online Export Monitoring System (OEMS) to the representative officers of the exporter clients.
Mr Suzat Ali Prodhan, the esteemed Joint Director of the Foreign Exchange Operation Department of Bangladesh Bank, led the training workshop. The participants received valuable guidance related to export trade from the experienced official of Bangladesh Bank. Mr Md. Jahangir Kabir, Executive Vice President and Head of the International Division, Mr Jakir Imtiaz, Executive Vice President and Head of the Central Trade Services Department, and Ms Sayma Banu, Director of the Training Institute, were also present in the workshop.
Mr Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director, Southeast Bank PLC, inaugurated the event. He welcomed the participants in his speech and advised them to stay updated with recent changes. He emphasised the importance of complying with Bangladesh Bank's guidelines and circulars for accurate execution and reporting of export-related transactions. Moreover, he expressed his gratitude to the exporters for bringing valuable foreign currency to the country, contributing significantly to the national economy, and choosing Southeast Bank PLC as their trusted partner.
