Southeast Bank appoints Md Mahbub Alam as AMD
Md Mahbub Alam has joined Southeast Bank PLC as Additional Managing Director (AMD), effective 14 October 2025.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at NCC Bank PLC.
Mr Alam began his professional career at Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) in 1995.

He joined Uttara Bank as a Probationary Officer in September 1996, gaining extensive experience across various segments of branch banking.
Over the years, he also held senior management roles and headed multiple departments and branches at Jamuna Bank and Mercantile Bank.
Mr Alam holds an MBA in Finance from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, along with an MCom and BCom (Honours) in Accounting from the same university's Faculty of Business Studies.
