SIB holds virtual session on Siyam, Taqwa and Shariah compliance
Standard Islami Bank PLC organised a virtual knowledge-sharing programme for its employees, titled "Siyam and Taqwa: Professional Excellence and Shariah Compliance".
Md Siddiqur Rahman, acting managing director of the bank, inaugurated the four-session programme as chief guest on 4 March 2026.
According to the bank, the programme aims to promote ethics and Shariah compliance in banking, while also guiding employees in their personal lives through the teachings of siyam and taqwa.
The programme is organised by the bank's Shariah Secretariat Division, in association with the Standard Islami Bank Learning Centre, via the Zoom platform.
