Shimanto Bank, Trust and pay ink deal to enhance digital payments
Shimanto Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with Trust And Pay to facilitate seamless fund transfers between customers' accounts at the two institutions.
The agreement was signed at Shimanto Bank's head office in Dhaka. Under the arrangement, Shimanto Bank customers will be able to transfer funds to Trust And Pay accounts and receive funds from them, enhancing the convenience of digital payments.
The memorandum was signed by Mohammad Azizul Hoque, Managing Director and CEO (Current Charge) of Shimanto Bank, and S M Akram Sayeed, Chief Executive Officer of Trust And Pay, on behalf of their respective organisations.

The signing ceremony was attended by Md Sahidul Islam, Head of Business, Shimanto Bank; Manzur Maswood, Head of IT; Sharif Zahirul Islam, Head of Cards and ADC; and A K M Ahasan Kabir, Head of IT, Trust And Pay, along with other senior officials from both institutions.
