SEU Board of Trustees inaugurates new BoT office

The 137th meeting of the Southeast University Trust (SEUT) Board of Trustees was held on Monday at the newly decorated Board of Trustees (BoT) Office located on the university's permanent campus in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Mr Rezaul Karim, Honourable Chairman of the SEU Trust, and attended by distinguished members of the Board along with senior members of the university management.
Prior to the meeting, Mr Karim officially inaugurated the newly renovated BoT office. This marks a notable addition to the university's infrastructure at its permanent campus, symbolising SEU's commitment to providing a more collaborative and forward-looking environment for governance and planning.
During the session, the Board discussed a wide range of academic, administrative, and strategic issues aimed at advancing the university's vision for academic excellence. Among the key agenda items were the evaluation of existing academic programmes, infrastructure upgrades, and policy refinement across institutional operations.
The Board also issued a number of strategic directives to enhance academic quality, promote research excellence, and increase operational efficiency. Emphasis was placed on strengthening collaborations with industry, integrating emerging technologies in the curriculum, and pursuing sustainable institutional development.
This meeting reaffirmed Southeast University's dedication to continuous improvement in higher education and its role in producing competent, globally competitive graduates.
