Seminar on safe internet, ai and mental wellbeing to be held in cox’s bazar

A seminar titled "Safe Internet, AI Future & Mental Well-being" is set to take place on 7 July 2025 (Monday) at the Cox's Bazar Cultural Centre.
The event is jointly organised by the Lions Club of Moheshkhali and Twimbol, aiming to raise awareness among students on digital safety, artificial intelligence, and mental well-being in today's tech-driven world.
The seminar is designed for school, madrasa, and college students and will feature a high-impact panel discussion on "Safe Internet for Children". National and local experts, educators, and digital policy advocates will share their insights and practical advice on creating a safer online environment for young people.
One of the key highlights of the programme will be the recognition of 10 outstanding students or youth organisations from across the Cox's Bazar division. These individuals or groups will be selected based on prior applications and a formal evaluation process, celebrating their contributions or potential in digital safety, AI awareness, or youth well-being.
To further engage young minds, the event will also feature a live quiz competition centred on three key themes: internet safety, AI knowledge, and mental health awareness. Exciting prizes will be awarded to participating students who demonstrate a strong understanding in these areas.
The four-hour seminar promises to be an interactive, informative, and empowering experience, providing students with the tools and inspiration to navigate the digital world with confidence, critical thinking, and emotional resilience.
Organisers hope the event will catalyse broader conversations about safe technology use, the responsible adoption of AI, and the mental well-being of Bangladesh's future generations.
