Remians Cultural Club promotes youth engagement in arts
Remians Cultural Club has strengthened its role as a leading promoter of cultural engagement and artistic development, organising workshops, competitions, and nationwide initiatives to inspire the next generation.
Focused on nurturing creativity and preserving Bangladesh's cultural heritage, the club has organised and participated in a diverse array of programmes, competitions, workshops, and collaborative events.
The club has arranged national, inter-college, and intra-college workshops to help students develop skills across various cultural disciplines.
Through these initiatives, Remians Cultural Club said it continues to promote Bengali culture among younger generations.
The club has conducted more than 500 intra-college workshops for students of Dhaka Residential Model College.
These sessions provided training in poetry recitation, creative writing, music, dance, public speaking, and other artistic disciplines.
According to the club, these workshops have enabled students to develop skills, confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation of cultural heritage.
A recent highlight was the 2nd National Cultural Festival 2026, "Anondodhara", organised by the club.
The festival brought together participants from across Bangladesh, featuring more than 26 segments, including music, dance, recitation, art, and literary competitions.
Organisers said the event was acclaimed for its organisation, inclusivity, and presentation of cultural activities.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, Bobby Hajjaj, attended as chief guest.
The club has introduced measures to ensure inclusivity and fairness in cultural activities, notably appointing equity officers during major events.
Organisers said this step reflects the club's commitment to transparency, discipline, and equal opportunity for all participants.
Remians Cultural Club's activities are supported by its leadership team.
Chief Patron Brigadier General Dr Mohammed Zaber Hossain provides strategic guidance.

The club said it aims to expand its activities through national and international collaborations, promote Bengali culture on a wider platform, and build a sustainable environment for artistic excellence.
