Pubali Bank, Shwapno sign MoU to boost customer offers
Pubali Bank PLC and ACI Logistics Limited (Shwapno), one of the country's leading retail chains, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work jointly on customer service improvements, marketing innovation, customer relationship management (CRM) integration and co-branded campaigns.
The MoU was signed at a ceremony attended by Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali of Pubali Bank PLC as chief guest and Managing Director Sabbir Hasan Nasir of ACI Logistics Limited as special guest.
Also present were Deputy Managing Director Md Shahnewaz Khan of Pubali Bank PLC and Director (Treasury, Finance and Planning) Abu Hasan Jaman of ACI PLC.
Senior executives from Pubali Bank were present at the event, including AKM Abdur Rakib, area head of the Dhaka North region and general manager; Md Shahin Shahriar, general manager of the bank's Mohakhali Corporate Branch; and Md Rabiul Alam, head of the Alternative Delivery Channel Division and deputy general manager. Senior officials and customers from both organisations also attended.
Speaking at the event, Mohammad Ali said the MoU would open "a new dimension of long-term collaboration" between the two institutions. He said the partnership would help build a stronger value chain by improving customer service and ensuring more innovative banking facilities.
He added that the collaboration would bring more modern services for customers through advanced CRM integration and co-branded initiatives. The retail–banking partnership, he said, would help make customers' day-to-day transactions easier and more cost-effective through digital payments, loyalty benefits and special offers, while creating new opportunities for employees of both organisations.
