Pubali Bank holds seminar on Islamic banking and finance
The Islamic Banking Wing recently organised a two-day "Islamic Banking and Finance" seminar at Pubali Bank's head office auditorium.
Mohammad Ali, managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank, was the chief guest. Professor Dr Muhammad Humayon Abbas Dar, Director General of Cambridge Institute of Islamic Finance, was the solo speaker. Deputy Managing Directors Ahmed Enayet Manzur, Md Shahnewaz Khan, and Mohammad Anisuzzaman wers Special Guests. The General Manager of the Islamic Banking Wing, Dewan Jamil Masud, the General Managers of the head office, and bank senior executives were present at the event.
The event discussed the challenges and prospects of the Islamic banking sector in Bangladesh in detail and highlighted aspects of changing the country's economy through Islamic banking.
