Pubali Bank donates bus to Islamic University of Technology

The Board of Directors of Pubali Bank PLC donated a bus to the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Mohammad Ali, Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank PLC, handed over the key to Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of IUT. Dr Hissein Araby Nour, Pro Vice-Chancellor of IUT, and Md Shahnewaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director of Pubali Bank, were also present at the ceremony.

Md Faizul Hoque Sharif, General Manager of General Banking and Operations Division; A.K.M. Abdur Raqib, General Manager and RM of Dhaka North Region; Mohammad Arifur Rahman, DGM and RM of Gazipur Region; Tahmina Mayna, AGM and Head of Uttara Model Town Branch; and Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, AGM and Head of PR, also attended the event.

In his speech, Managing Director Mohammad Ali stated, "Pubali Bank is not only a profit-oriented organisation; it also has social responsibilities. As part of this, Pubali Bank has donated a bus to Islamic University of Technology." He added that such activities would continue in the future.

Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of IUT, praised the initiative, commending Pubali Bank for its contribution to the university.
