Priyoshop partners with insightgenie to boost AI credit access

Priyoshop, Bangladesh's top B2B marketplace and smart distribution platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Singapore-based AI firm Insightgenie to launch a sophisticated credit assessment solution for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The collaboration aims to boost financial inclusion, as more than 67% of Bangladeshi retailers lack access to formal financial services.
Insightgenie, an FDA-certified AI platform, serves various sectors, including banking, fintech, healthcare, insurance, HR, and government. Its analytics provide psychographic analysis, credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and recruitment evaluation. Under this agreement, Priyoshop becomes Insightgenie's exclusive distributor in Bangladesh. The technology, proven in markets such as London, Japan, Hong Kong, and China, has been adapted for Bangladesh through Priyoshop's collaboration.
The partnership introduces a digital eKYC process that evaluates borrowers using demographic, purchasing, and psychological data. This method measures financial reliability through background checks, spending trends, and behavioral insights. By enabling real-time evaluations, the system simplifies workflows and offers a broader, more equitable option than conventional banking.
Insightgenie's voice analytics technology evaluates repayment ability and intent through speech analysis. This enables instant credit assessments across diverse languages and dialects, thereby expanding access for rural retailers.
Vincent Choi, founder of Insightgenie, said: "We are delighted to be working with Priyoshop to bring our AI capabilities to Bangladesh. By enabling smarter, faster, and more inclusive AI-based assessments, we can help unlock the true potential of various industries and accelerate economic empowerment at scale."
Priyoshop is the first company in Bangladesh to implement Insightgenie's AI-powered recruitment tool. This tool identifies suitable candidates using psychological and behavioral data. It is expected to enhance operational efficiency and employee well-being.
"Our goal has always been to equip retailers with the digital tools they need to thrive," said Priyoshop COO Ashiqul Alam Khan. "With Insightgenie's support, we can deliver more meaningful benefits to MSMEs and our staff. This is a transformative solution for Bangladesh."
This partnership reinforces Priyoshop's commitment to inclusive growth. AI-driven solutions will enhance loan forecasting, mitigate credit risk, and lower costs for financial institutions, thereby setting new standards for social and economic progress.
