Prime Bank, IBA launch certification to train future entrepreneurs

Prime Bank PLC and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, have partnered to launch a certification programme aimed at empowering entrepreneurs nationwide with essential business and leadership skills.
A formal document exchange ceremony was held on Sunday, 13 July 2025, at the IBA campus in Dhaka. Under the programme, selected participants will receive hands-on training in key areas, including financial management, marketing strategies, business model development, and digital transformation. The sessions will feature a mix of expert-led lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions to sharpen entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making capabilities.
M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank PLC, and Professor Sheikh Morshed Jahan of the IBA, University of Dhaka, formally exchanged the documents during the event.
Also present were Professor Md. Ridhwanul Haq, PhD, Coordinator of the Management Development Programme at IBA; Professor Md. Mohiuddin, PhD; Professor Dr. Khaled Mahmud; and Professor Dr. Sutapa Bhattacharjee, GPHR.
This collaboration underscores Prime Bank's commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and economic growth in Bangladesh. For IBA, the programme reinforces its longstanding focus on developing business leadership and professional management skills among the country's rising entrepreneurial community.
The certification programme will be open to applicants nationwide, with participants selected through a competitive process.
