Prime Bank cup golf tournament 2026 held in Cumilla
The three-day 5th Prime Bank Cup Golf Tournament 2026 was held from 8–10 January at Mainamati Golf and Country Club in Cumilla Cantonment, drawing enthusiastic participation from golfers across categories.
The tournament was inaugurated by Major General Md Nazim-ud-Daula, SPP, ndc, psc, PhD, President of Mainamati Golf and Country Club, who attended the opening ceremony as chief guest. Mafiz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Director of Prime Bank PLC, was also present at the inaugural session.
The closing ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Md Malek Hossain, ndc, psc, Chairman of the Handicap and Entertainment Committee; Brigadier General Syed Ashiqur Rahman, SPP, PBGM, nwc, psc, Chairman of the Tournament Committee; and Lieutenant Colonel Beig Sabbir Ahmed, psc, Member-Secretary.
From Prime Bank PLC, Deputy Managing Director M Nazeem A Choudhury, and Mamur Ahmed, Senior Executive Vice-President and Head of Distribution Network, were present at the closing ceremony.
The tournament featured competitions in three categories—sub-junior, junior, and senior golfers. A total of around 132 golfers took part in the event, making it a lively and competitive sporting occasion.
The 5th Prime Bank Cup Golf Tournament 2026 successfully promoted sportsmanship and camaraderie among participants, while highlighting the growing popularity of golf in the region.
