Emirates expands premium economy across global network
Emirates is accelerating the roll-out of its latest onboard products by expanding Premium Economy and next-generation cabin interiors across its global network, as more retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft and new Airbus A350s enter service.
By 1 July, customers will be able to enjoy Emirates' award-winning Premium Economy on more than 84 routes across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia.
As part of the expansion, the airline will introduce new daily Airbus A350 services to Copenhagen, Phuket, and Cape Town. From 1 June, Emirates will operate a second daily flight between Dubai and Copenhagen, followed by the launch of a third daily service to Phuket and Cape Town from 1 July. All new frequencies will be operated by the Emirates A350, featuring Premium Economy alongside the airline's latest Business and Economy Class cabins.
Beyond these additions, Emirates continues to extend Premium Economy across its existing network. In Europe and North America, routes to Barcelona, Mexico City, Rome, and Copenhagen will see upgraded aircraft. In Asia, services to Cochin, Karachi, Taipei, and Phuket will benefit from either retrofitted Boeing 777s or the A350.
In Australia, the Brisbane route will transition to a retrofitted four-class Boeing 777-300ER, complementing the existing Airbus A380 operation on the sector.
Africa and the Middle East will also see further enhancements, with Addis Ababa, Cape Town, Basra, Kuwait City, and Tehran set to receive aircraft equipped with Premium Economy cabins.
