Prime Bank, bKash unveil customised cash management platform
Prime Bank PLC and bKash Limited have agreed to launch a partnership aimed at enhancing bKash's digital cash management capabilities.
Under the arrangement, bKash distributors and agents will be able to transfer funds between their bKash channel accounts and special bank accounts for the creation and redemption of bKash e-money via an API-based validation process—available 24/7, including weekends and public holidays. This ensures faster fund transfers, greater accessibility, and reduced manual errors. The comprehensive solution also features automated reconciliation and customised reporting services, helping users manage finances more accurately and efficiently.
In addition, bKash will use PrimePay, Prime Bank's omni-digital platform, to initiate all types of domestic disbursements through host-to-host connectivity.

The agreement was signed at Prime Bank's head office on 4 August 2025 by Faisal Rahman, Additional Managing Director of Prime Bank PLC, and Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir, Chief Financial Officer of bKash.
Also present were senior officials from both Prime Bank and bKash.
