AB Bank holds 43rd annual general meeting
AB Bank PLC held its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 August 2025, with Board Chairman Kaiser A Chowdhury presiding over the session.
The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors, Managing Director, and CEO Syed Mizanur Rahman, as well as a large number of shareholders.
At the AGM, shareholders re-elected Shajir Ahmed as a Director and approved the appointment of Dr. Nasima A Rahman as an Independent Director of the bank.

The meeting adopted the Directors' Report and the audited financial statements for the year ended 2024. Shareholders also appointed M M Rahman & Co., Chartered Accountants, as statutory auditor, and S F Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants, as corporate governance compliance auditor for 2025.
Marking its 43rd year as the country's first private sector bank, AB Bank expressed its deep gratitude to regulators, depositors, shareholders, and sponsors for their continued support.
