Helio launches helio 95 smartphone in Bangladesh
Helio has launched its latest smartphone, the Helio 95, in the Bangladeshi market, targeting users seeking premium features, robust performance, and modern design at a price point tailored to the country's highly price-sensitive smartphone segment.
Powered by Android 15, the helio 95 features a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, advanced camera capabilities and a large battery, positioning it as a value-driven device for everyday users, content creators and mobile gamers.
The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling, vivid colours, and an immersive viewing experience. With 10-bit colour support, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and full lamination, the display delivers enhanced clarity and brightness for video streaming, gaming, and social media use.
Under the bonnet, the Helio 95 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core G100 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM uMCP memory, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance. Storage can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
Photography is a key highlight of the device. The Helio 95 is equipped with a 50MP IMX752 primary camera and a 2MP macro lens, featuring portrait mode with autofocus and an f/1.8 aperture. Camera features include Night Mode, Pro Mode, HDR, Panorama, Dual View Camera, Time-lapse, AI enhancements, Sports Mode, intelligent scanning, and watermark customisation. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera supports clear video calls and selfies, with features such as portrait mode, display flash, face beauty, and auto HDR.
The device is powered by a 5,000mAh Li-Polymer battery, optimised for all-day usage on 4G networks. It supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C, enabling a full charge in approximately 80 minutes, and also offers reverse charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the Helio 95 supports 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G networks, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, and OTA. It includes a wide range of LTE bands suitable for the Bangladesh market. Security features include in-display fingerprint scanning and face unlock, supported by sensors such as proximity, light, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetic sensors.
The smartphone also offers a range of smart and lifestyle features, including Always-On Display, Dynamic Island, Edge Lighting, Smart Flash Notification, Game Booster, App Lock, Private Space, Dual Apps, Hidden Apps, Anti-Peeping Mode, Digital Wellbeing and Parental Control, One-Hand Mode, Double Tap to Wake, infrared remote, and IP64 dust and water resistance.
In terms of design, the Helio 95 features an ultra-slim body measuring 7.55mm in thickness and weighing 174 grammes, offering a lightweight feel with a premium finish.
The Helio 95 will be available from tomorrow in Carbon Black and Titanium Fog colour options at a price of Tk19,999, with a bundle offer from Grameenphone.
