NSU HR club successfully holds Epitome 3.0

The North South University Human Resources Club launched Epitome 3.0, Bangladesh's premier inter-university HR case competition, with an offline workshop on "HR Transformation: Shaping Tomorrow's Workforce."
This year's Epitome focuses on AI-driven innovation in HR, challenging participants to design creative and sustainable solutions in recruitment, employee engagement, and HR system optimization. The competition unfolds over three rounds designed to assess participants' strategic thinking, technological adaptability, and leadership skills.
The competition kicked off with a workshop on July 18, 2025, at the NSU Main Auditorium, attended by distinguished guests, including the Dean of the School of Business & Economics, the Director of the BBA Programme, and the Chairman of the Department of Management.
The session was led by:
- Quazi Tafsirul Islam, Senior Lecturer, Department of Management, North South University
- Noodar Yeasmin, Employee Experience Expert, Grameenphone
They provided insights on modern HR practices, aligning performance standards, and adapting to technology-driven environments. Participants were also introduced to the competition's structure, case expectations, and rules.
Epitome 3.0 Structure and Highlights:
- Roadshows & Registration: Roadshows and registration drives will follow the workshop, aiming to attract participants from across Bangladesh.
- Round 1: Diagnose and Deliver: Teams will analyze real-world HR challenges, identify underlying issues, and propose data-driven, practical solutions.
- Round 2: Digital Shift - Participants will design innovative HR solutions that integrate technology to improve efficiency and adaptability.
- Bootcamp: Finalist teams will experience HR challenges in real-world corporate settings to prepare for the final round.
- Round 3: The HR Blueprint: In the grand finale, teams will develop a future-ready HR strategy focused on sustainability, innovation, and long-term workforce transformation.
Epitome 3.0 offers more than just a case competition; it serves as a learning and development platform that inspires the next generation of HR leaders. Participants will gain practical HR experience, exposure to industry experts, opportunities for networking, and enhanced problem-solving skills. They will leave with valuable insights and a deeper understanding of the evolving world of HR.
