The third Bangladesh AI Olympiad is set to hold its national round on 16 May at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) campus in Mirpur, Dhaka, bringing together top young talent in artificial intelligence from across the country.
The competition aims to raise awareness of artificial intelligence among secondary-level students and to enhance their skills in the field, according to a press release issued on 23 April.
Regional selection rounds will be held in five divisions from 2 to 10 May, with the Dhaka round commencing on 2 May at BUBT.
The Rangpur regional round—featuring participants from Rangpur, Dinajpur and Nilphamari—will be held on 8 May at Saidpur Cantonment Public School and College.
Regional rounds at Rajshahi College, Chittagong Independent University, and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology will take place on 9 May. An online e-Olympiad is scheduled for 10 May for students in districts without a regional venue.
Interested students may register until 10pm on 28 April via the event link. Further details and the syllabus are available on the Bangladesh AI Olympiad website.
