MTB launches cashback, dining deals for Ramadan and EID shoppers
As Ramadan approaches and daily routines shift towards family gatherings and festive preparations, Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has launched a comprehensive campaign for its cardholders.
Designed to ease the seasonal rise in household spending, the initiative offers a range of savings and rewards to help customers manage expenses during Ramadan and Eid.
To support holiday shopping, MTB is offering 10 per cent cashback at lifestyle outlets including Aarong, Apex, Bata and Yellow. Customers looking to upgrade their homes may also avail cashback on EMI purchases at electronics retailers such as Rangs, Singer and Transcom, as well as furniture brands including Hatil and Navana, with flexible tenures ranging from three to 36 months.
The bank is also offering 10x MRewardz points at fashion brands including Infinity, Anjans and Le Reve, and at grocery chains such as Shwapno and Meena Bazar. The accelerated rewards extend to travel bookings for Eid holidays through Air Astra, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, GoZayaan and ShareTrip.
For leisure and social outings, cardholders will earn 5x MRewardz points at entertainment venues such as Star Cineplex and Toggi Fun World, and at coffee shops including North End and Tabaq. The campaign also includes up to 30 per cent discounts at selected lifestyle partners and up to 20 per cent savings on digital platforms.
A key highlight is a companion dining offer, featuring buy-one-get-one/two/three free iftar and sehri buffets at selected restaurants, including outlets at five-star hotels.
Through the campaign, MTB aims to promote secure cashless payments, while supporting customers during a period of spiritual and social significance.
