MJL Bangladesh unveils sustainability report 2024
MJL Bangladesh PLC has released its Sustainability Report 2024, highlighting progress in reducing GHG emissions and advancing ESG principles.
The event featured Azam J Chowdhury, Managing Director; Tanjil Chowdhury, Director; Md Mukul Hossain, CEO; and other officials and guests.
The launch follows the company's recognition as one of the top Bangladeshi firms in the Bloomberg ESG rating for its 2025 disclosures — a milestone that reflects MJL's commitment to transparency, ethical practices, and global standards.

"Our Sustainability Report 2024 reflects our core values and promise to stakeholders," said Azam J Chowdhury. "The positive Bloomberg ESG rating momentum reinforces our commitment to strong governance, transparency, environmental stewardship, health risk management, and women's safety."
Senior General Manager Engr Md Shahin Alom summarised the report's key areas:
