Midland Bank organises workshop on leadership excellence
Midland Bank PLC hosted the 'Leadership Excellence & Crisis Management' workshop on 11 April 2026 at the MDB Training Institute, reaffirming the bank's dedication to cultivating leadership and crisis management expertise within its management team.
The workshop sought to sharpen leadership skills, boost operational performance, and equip branch managers with robust strategies for navigating evolving business and crisis situations.
Notable attendees included Imtiaz U Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO; Md Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and CRO; and Md Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director and CTO.
Members of the senior management team, divisional heads, and branch managers also attended.
Dr Mohammad Tazul Islam, Professor of Management and Director (Training) at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), facilitated the session.
He delivered insights on leadership growth, strategic direction, operational excellence, and crisis response, offering actionable guidance for addressing real-world business challenges.
The workshop featured structured sessions, interactive learning, and experience-sharing, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of leadership practices and enhance decision-making abilities within the banking sector.
