Midland Bank inaugurates new branch in Gazipur

Midland Bank PLC (MDB) inaugurated its Gazipur Branch at Smart Plaza on February 12, 2025.

Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, inaugurated the Branch as Chief Guest, along with Javed Tarek Khan, Head of the Institutional Banking Division, Md. Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution Division, and Md. Abdullah, the branch manager of the Gazipur branch, customers, other local business people, and elites.

Government and non-government officials from different organisations, business people, journalists, and local elites were present in the programme and expressed good wishes to the Bank. 

The head of the SME Banking Division, the Head of the General Services Division, the Area Head, and the Cluster Head of the Bank were present during the inaugural ceremony. 

In his speech, the MD and CEO thanked the audience for attending the programme and requested that they establish a relationship with the Bank by opening an account. He instructed branch officials to provide the best service to customers and requested that the audience use Midland Ouse'e—the Bank's free Internet banking application—and enjoy safe, secure, and modern banking services from anywhere, anytime.

At the beginning of the ceremony, 'Doa' was held to seek the divine blessings of Almighty Allah for the welfare, progress, and prosperity of both the Bank and the country. Md Rashadul Anwar, Head of PRD, anchored the inaugural programme.
