MIDAS Financing PLC reappoints Managing Director

 The Board of Directors of MIDAS Financing PLC, in its 375th meeting held on February 09, 2025, re-appointed Mr. Mustafizur Rahman as the company's Managing Director for the third time. Bangladesh Bank also approved the same, effective May 02, 2025, for the next two years and nine months.

Mr. Mustafizur Rahman joined MIDAS Financing PLC as the Managing Director on May 02, 2019. Mr Rahman started his career at IDLC Finance Limited in July 1988 and served in different positions. In his 37-year career in the financing sector, he worked in various positions with several leading Non-Banking Financial Institutions like Lanka Bangla Finance Limited, Union Capital Limited, Premier Leasing and Finance Limited, and CVC Finance Limited. He has served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for 16 years at various non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), Premier Leasing and Finance Limited, and CVC Finance Limited. He completed his BSS (Economics) and MBA (IBA) from the University of Dhaka in 1983 and 1987, respectively.

He has attended many local and foreign trainings, workshops, and seminars during his career.
