METAL reviews performance, sets growth plan for 2026
Metal Agritech Limited (METAL), a pioneer in Bangladesh's agri-mechanisation sector with over three decades of experience, held its Annual Meet 2026 on 18 January 2026 at Hotel Sheraton, Banani, Dhaka.
The company has played a key role in modernising agriculture in Bangladesh by supplying advanced agricultural machinery, including TAFE tractors from India, FMWORLD combine harvesters from China, and Maschio rotavators from Italy, along with a range of other equipment.
The programme was attended by Engineer Sadid Jamil, Managing Director; Sarah Jamil, Director; Mizanur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer; Zahirul Hoque, Head of Operations; and other senior company officials.
During the event, management reviewed the company's performance in the previous year and outlined its 2026 business plan. Addressing the gathering, Managing Director Sadid Jamil said the past year had been challenging for the business, but expressed optimism that 2026 would bring positive growth and improvements across all operational areas.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to further strengthening METAL's role in promoting sustainable agricultural mechanisation in Bangladesh.
