Mercantile Bank signs cash management deal with Esquire Electronics
Mercantile Bank PLC has signed a cash management agreement with Esquire Electronics Limited at the bank's head office in Dhaka on Thursday (30 October 2025).
Arifur Rahman, Managing Director of Esquire Electronics, and Dr Md Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of Mercantile Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in the presence of the bank's Managing Director, Mati Ul Hasan, who attended the event as the chief guest.
Under the agreement, Mercantile Bank will provide cash management services to Esquire Electronics and its customers through its branches, sub-branches, agent outlets, mobile banking app Rainbow, and mobile financial service MyCash. All Esquire Electronics outlets nationwide will now have convenient access to these services.

Mercantile Bank Deputy Managing Directors Zakir Hossain and Ashim Kumar Saha; Head of Corporate Banking Mohammad Faruque Ahmmed; Head of Corporate Liability and Cash Management K M Anowarul Islam; Head of Retail Banking Ashim Kumar Saha; Head of Agent and Mobile Banking Darpan Kanti Roy; and Tejgaon–Gulshan Link Road Branch Manager Al Mansur were present at the ceremony.
Representing Esquire Electronics were Abdullah-Al-Rashed, General Manager (Finance and Accounts), and Syed Rabiul Islam, Senior Manager (Business Development and Showroom Operations), along with other senior officials from both organisations.
