Marcel customer wins Tk10 lakh under digital campaign
Habibur Rahman, a tailor from Pakulla Dakshin Para village in Mirzapur, has been awarded Tk10 lakh after purchasing a Marcel refrigerator, as part of the nationwide "Digital Campaign Season – 24". Habibur expressed his delight at receiving the cash prize after buying just one refrigerator.
Actress Sadia Ayman and actor Irfan Sajjad officially presented the Tk10 lakh cheque to Habibur at Tarchala Bazar, Mirzapur. Marcel Head of Business, Hasan Md Rimon Sabre, Deputy Head of Business, Motiur Rahman, Additional Executive Director, Mofizur Rahman, and Home Electronics proprietor, Osman Goni, were also in attendance.
To mark Eid-ul-Azha, customers purchasing Marcel refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, or ceiling fans have the opportunity to win Tk10 lakh. The campaign also offers cash vouchers of up to Tk5,000, assured cashback, and additional nationwide benefits through to Eid-ul-Azha.
Habibur said, "I knew people could receive Tk200–300 when buying a product, but I never imagined winning lakhs of Taka outside of dramas and films. Now, that movie script has become reality for me. Winning Tk10 lakh by purchasing a Marcel fridge is simply beyond belief." He thanked Marcel and said he would use the funds to pursue his dream of working abroad.
