PUPROA holds meta training for PR professionals
The Private University Public Relations Officers Association, in collaboration with CoNexus AI & AdTech, organised the "Meta Training Session 2026" at the Conference Hall of the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh in Dhaka on 16 May 2026.
The training session aimed to enhance the capacity of public relations professionals to use Meta platforms effectively for university branding, stakeholder engagement and strategic digital advertising.
PUPROA members and advisers attended the session, including President Abu Mia Akand Tuhin, General Secretary Abu Sadat, Vice President Muhammad Imtiaz and Adviser Belal Ahmed.
Representatives from North South University, East West University, Southeast University, University of Asia Pacific, BUFT, IUBAT, AUST, ISU, Presidency University, Sonargaon University, Eastern University, the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh and other institutions also joined the event.
Tithi Chowdhury, Partner Director, AdTech at CoNexus AI & AdTech and former Meta Client Partner Lead, conducted the session as the lead resource person.
The training covered key areas, including Meta's user landscape in Bangladesh, advertising payment solutions, credit enablement, community building and personalisation, campaign optimisation, and best practices for higher education institutions.
At the end of the programme, CoNexus AI & AdTech awarded certificates of participation to the PUPROA members who attended.
Tokens of appreciation were also presented to Tithi Chowdhury; Mehedi Hasan Imon, Client Partner at CoNexus AI & AdTech; and Mahfuz Ahmed, AVP and Senior Manager at City Bank PLC and former Meta Senior Account Manager, for their contributions to the training session.
PUPROA President Abu Mia Akand Tuhin emphasised the importance of digital proficiency in modern university public relations and thanked CoNexus AI & AdTech for partnering in the professional development initiative.
