Labaid cardiac hospital rolls out cardiac awareness campaign
To mark World Heart Day 2025, Labaid Cardiac Hospital hosted a scientific session titled "Your health is in your hands", highlighting the importance of heart disease prevention.
The session featured a keynote paper on heart disease and remedies by Dr Md Asifudoza (Asif), with eminent cardiologists and professors in attendance.
Dr Abduz Zaher chaired the session, with Dr A P M Sohrabuzzaman and Dr Lutfor Rahman as co-chairs, while Dr Gazi Enayet Ullah conducted the event.

At the end of the programme, Ahmed Daud, Chief Operating Officer of Labaid Hospital, expressed his gratitude to all participants.
SM Nur Hossain and senior Labaid consultants were also present.
On the occasion of World Heart Day 2025, Labaid Cardiac Hospital, the country's first NABH-accredited hospital, has launched a "special service fortnight".
Running from 29 September to 15 October, the campaign offers cardiac screening packages that include heart condition assessments, as well as consultations with specialist physicians where necessary.
