Karmasangsthan Bank holds business development meeting
The "Business Development Meeting-2025" was held in Dhaka on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with the participation of regional branch managers and field officers of Karmasangsthan Bank's Dhaka, Dhaka North, Gazipur, and Narayanganj regions.
Dr AFM Matiur Rahman, Chairman and former Secretary of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank, inaugurated the meeting as the chief guest. Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana, and General Manager Md. Shafiqul Islam Miah was present as a special guest. Muhammad Masudur Rahman, DGM of the Dhaka Divisional Office, presided over the meeting.
In his speech at the meeting, the chief guest emphasised selecting the right entrepreneurs and distributing quality loans. He also called for further increases in work efficiency during the remaining fiscal year period and for achieving 100 per cent targets in all business indicators.

In his speech, the Managing Director called for transforming Karmasangsthan Bank into a developed, customer-friendly institution aligned with the world. He advised everyone to make up for the shortcomings in all indicators by utilising working hours with innovative ideas and a positive mindset. He also emphasised creating more employment opportunities by distributing loans to new entrepreneurs.
