Jamuna Bank holds school banking conference 2025 in Cumilla

Jamuna Bank PLC recently organised the School Banking Conference 2025 at Kadba Talagram Taribi Charan Laha High School in Barura upazila of Cumilla, as part of its ongoing financial literacy programme for students.

Iqbal Mohsin, Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as chief guest. Addressing the students, he said, "Financial literacy is not just an education; it is an important foundation for future life. Through proper planning and savings, you can contribute to the economic development of yourself and the country."

The school's head teacher, assistant head teacher, and president of the managing committee attended as special guests. The programme was presided over by Abdus Sobhan, Executive Vice President and Head of the Banking Operation Division of Jamuna Bank PLC, who noted, "It is the responsibility of all of us to spread the concept of financial discipline and savings among the younger generation."

The event concluded successfully in the presence of the Barura branch manager of Jamuna Bank, teachers, and students of the school.
