Jamuna Bank concludes entrepreneurship training in Pabna
Jamuna Bank PLC concluded a month-long entrepreneurship development training programme in Pabna under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP).
The 100-hour programme began on 5 July and concluded at the BRAC Learning Centre on 30 July, according to a press release.
The training was conducted under the overall supervision of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank. It is being implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance, with financial support from the Asian Development Bank.

Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and chief executive officer of Jamuna Bank, attended the closing ceremony as chief guest and presented crests and certificates to the trainees.
Md Masum Billah, project director and additional director of Bangladesh Bank, attended as guest of honour, while Md Wasim, deputy project director and joint director of Bangladesh Bank, was present as special guest.
Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed described the development of new entrepreneurs as an important step towards strengthening the country's economy.
He thanked the guests, trainees, officials, employees and others involved in the programme.
Md Fazlur Rahman, head of the Rajshahi Zone and senior vice-president of Jamuna Bank, presided over the ceremony.
Local businesspeople, journalists and other guests also attended the event.
