IUBAT signs mou with Spriha Bangladesh Foundation

The Department of Public Health at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Spriha Bangladesh Foundation at a ceremony held in the university's conference room.
The MoU was signed by Professor Dr Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, and Ajay Kumar Basu, Senior Technical Advisor of Spriha Bangladesh Foundation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr Momtuzur Rahman, Professor Dr Sheikh Nazmul Huda, Chairman of the Department of Public Health; AKM Sharfuddin, Director of the Placement and Alumni Office; and Shubashish Das Bala, Coordinator of the Nursing Department. From Spriha Bangladesh, Farha Sharmin, Technical Advisor, and Halima Tus Sadia, Head of Growth, were present. Faculty members, senior officials, and researchers from both institutions also joined the event.
Under the MoU, IUBAT Public Health students, faculty, and researchers will gain opportunities to participate in Spriha Bangladesh Foundation's training and research projects. The agreement aims to foster professional development, collaborative initiatives, and the mutual exchange of expertise.
Founded in 1991 by Professor Dr M Alimullah Miyan, a renowned educationist, IUBAT is the first private university in Bangladesh. It currently hosts thousands of students from across the country as well as more than 100 international students from 12 countries in Asia and Africa.
