Itel offers replacement warranty to support feature phone users
Itel has announced a 180-day replacement warranty for feature phone customers, effective ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, in a bid to strengthen after-sales service and customer confidence.
Under the new policy, customers who purchase any itel feature phone from 20 May 2026 onwards will be eligible for direct handset replacement within the first 180 days in the event of a qualifying mechanical issue.
Eligible customers will receive a new handset, rather than a repair, through service centres if a manufacturing defect arises within the first six months of purchase.
itel said the initiative aims to make after-sales service simpler, faster, and more accessible for feature phone users in Bangladesh.
In addition to the 180-day replacement facility, customers will receive a one-year standard warranty for continued after-sales support.
The warranty covers manufacturing issues, including power, display, and charging problems; speaker or microphone malfunctions; SIM or network issues; and keypad defects.
To claim a replacement, customers must visit any Carlcare Service Centre with the faulty handset, original purchase receipt, and box. Eligible customers will receive a replacement device on the same day.
The warranty applies to all itel feature phones purchased on or after 20 May 2026.
Coverage includes direct replacement for the first 180 days, followed by Carlcare's standard service warranty from day 181 to one year.
The programme excludes physical damage, water damage, unauthorised repairs, devices with tampered seals, and handsets with mismatched IMEI numbers.
itel said the Eid initiative reflects its commitment to providing affordable, reliable mobile phones for customers across Bangladesh.
Through the 180-day replacement warranty, the company aims to instil greater customer confidence and offer dependable support for everyday communication.
Customers can contact their nearest Carlcare Service Centre or visit itel's official website for details.
