ISU signs MoU with Malaysia’s Asia e University
International Standard University (ISU) and Asia e University (AeU), Malaysia, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand higher study opportunities, strengthen academic collaboration, and promote joint research initiatives.
The MoU signing ceremony and a discussion session titled "Exploring Higher Study Opportunities" were held at the ISU auditorium, organised by the university's Centre for Research, Development and Publications (CRDP).
The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr Norlina Binti Kamudin, Vice President (Group Talent Management and Development), Asia e University, and Associate Professor Dr Swa Lee Lee, Director, School of Graduate Studies, Asia e University, as guests of honour. The session was chaired by Professor HTM Quader Newaz, Treasurer, International Standard University.

Special guests included Professor Md Abul Kashem, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Professor Dr Hakikur Rahman, Chair, Department of Computer Science and Engineering; Professor Mohammad Ali, Department of Business Administration; and Md Faizullah Kawshik, Registrar, International Standard University.
Speaking at the event, Dr Norlina Binti Kamudin said the collaboration would create opportunities for students to pursue international-standard higher education and research, and would help strengthen ISU's presence in the global academic arena.
Dr Swa Lee Lee said the MoU was a milestone that would deepen cooperation between the two institutions. She said it would facilitate student and faculty exchange, joint research activities, and curriculum development, adding that the partnership could expand access to internationally recognised higher education and support more effective academic and research initiatives.
Speakers at the programme highlighted prospects for postgraduate education, academic mobility, faculty exchange, and collaborative research between the two institutions. ISU states the MoU is expected to create new pathways for its students and faculty members to pursue higher education and research opportunities at Asia e University, reflecting ISU's focus on international academic partnerships and global exposure.
