Islami Bank holds digital raffle draw, awards first motorcycle prize
Shabnur Khatun of Munshiganj has won the first motorcycle in Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC's cash remittance campaign run through Ria Money Transfer, the bank said.
Khatun, a customer of the bank's Nimtola branch, received the prize against a remittance sent from Brunei by her brother, Mohammad Atik.
The digital raffle draw was held at Islami Bank Tower on Sunday, 22 February 2026, with Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of the bank, present as chief guest.
Also present were Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director; Mohammad Masud, executive vice president; Nazrul Islam and Md Motahar Hossain Mollah, senior vice presidents; Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, vice president; and Rashedul Islam Talukder, country manager of Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh.
Islami Bank said it will give away a total of 20 motorcycles – one on each banking day (Sunday–Thursday) – through digital raffle draws among customers sending cash remittances through Ria Money Transfer during Ramadan. Remittance recipients will also receive gifts, the bank said. The offer will continue until 18 March 2026.
