iScreen releases Chakra 2 after success of first season
Building on the resounding success of its first season, iScreen Original's web series Chakra 2 has premiered, delivering fresh intrigue, darker themes, and heightened psychological complexity.
Chakra's debut drew inspiration from the widely discussed tragedy involving nine members of a Mymensingh family who died by suicide 17 years ago. The second season intensifies the suspense and psychological tension.
Directed by Vicky Zahed, the eight-episode series was released on 26 March as part of iScreen's special Eid line-up.
Organisers report that Chakra 2 has provided OTT audiences with a distinctive viewing experience, surpassing 1 million viewing minutes and attracting over 100,000 viewers within 48 hours of release.
A press conference celebrating the series' success was held at Channel i on 29 March, featuring the director and cast, who shared insights into filming and audience feedback.

Director Vicky Zahed, along with actors Tausif Mahbub, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Meghla Mukta, Mousumi Mou, and Gazi Rakayet, shared their experiences.

Chakra 2 is available for viewing via the iScreen app, either by subscription or for Tk25 without a subscription.
