IPDC hosts CXO roundtable to boost women-led enterprise in supply chains

IPDC Finance PLC. hosted a high-level CXO Roundtable and a capacity development training for women-led enterprises, following the success of the Joyee Corporate Connect held in March 2025.
Organised in collaboration with the World Bank We-Fi Programme and SME Foundation, the CXO Roundtable—titled "Accelerating Inclusive Supply Chain through WSME Engagement"—brought together senior corporate executives to explore pathways for integrating women-led small and medium enterprises (WSMEs) into mainstream supply chains.
Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC., addressed the roundtable, outlining IPDC's long-term vision to transform women's participation in economic value chains. "We are consistently working to bring meaningful changes to the women-centric business landscape," he said. "While the CXO Roundtable focused on supply chain inclusion, IPDC is complementing it by equipping aspiring women entrepreneurs with practical training to become institutional suppliers."
To reinforce this vision, IPDC also hosted a training programme titled 'Connecting Enterprises with Joyee' on 24 May 2025 at its Joyee 360 Sub-Branch in Mirpur. This session served as a practical guide for women entrepreneurs on how to align with corporate procurement standards and expand their businesses.
The event featured two core sessions. The first, 'Banking Solutions for Institutional Suppliers & Business Sustainability', was led by Md. Nomanur Rashid, Senior Vice President of Mutual Trust Bank PLC., who discussed financial inclusion and long-term business preparedness. The second session featured Tanjila Parvin, Founder of Priya Fashion, whose compelling journey from a home-based tailor to a trusted supplier for top brands like Aarong, Noborupa, and Shoishob offered inspiration and insights to attendees.
All CXO roundtable participants received eco-friendly souvenir pens crafted by Joyee entrepreneur Probha Aurora, symbolising IPDC's ongoing support for homegrown, women-led initiatives.
Through its Joyee 360 platform, IPDC continues to provide holistic support to women entrepreneurs, spanning market access, skill development, and financial services. These back-to-back initiatives represent a comprehensive strategy to empower women across the entrepreneurial spectrum, ensuring that bold ambitions are met with tangible opportunities.
As the landscape of women-led enterprises continues to grow, IPDC Finance PLC. remains a steadfast catalyst in building an inclusive and resilient economic future for Bangladesh.
