Industry secretary visits newly built temporary chemical warehouse
Industry Secretary Md Obaidur Rahman and Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman, Md Fazlur Rahman visited the newly constructed temporary chemical warehouse of BCIC in Shyampur, Dhaka.
During the inspection, they expressed satisfaction with the environment and overall operations. The secretary emphasised that the remaining office and warehouse space should be leased by the end of the quarter. He also instructed officials to schedule weekly cleaning for both the interior and exterior of the premises and to fill all vacant posts within one month. These steps will ensure the warehouse and offices remain fully operational.
Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Industries, Md Nuruzzaman NDC, attended the visit. Others present were Additional Secretary (State-owned Corporations) MA Kamal Billah; Additional Secretary Rashidul Hasan; Joint Secretary Md Sazedur Rahman; Deputy Secretary (Bira) Nurun Nahar; and senior BCIC officials.
