ICT hold meeting with BSMMU to strenghthen online appointment for patients

An important meeting of the ICT Cell with the BSMMU administration was held at the Honourable Vice Chancellor's Office on Saturday, January 4, 2025, to strengthen online appointment service activities for the convenience of patients.

The meeting emphasised facilitating the issue of obtaining tickets for outpatient departments and appointments online. Patients will benefit if tickets for outpatient departments and appointments can be obtained completely online. This will enable avoiding the crowds of patients who want to get tickets in the outpatient department.

At the same time, patients can come to the doctor at the appointed time and get the doctor's advice or prescription.

This will also save the patients' time. Patients can access this service by logging into the BSMMU website. BSMMU In today's meeting, chaired by Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shahinul Alam, detailed discussions were held on expanding this service program, including online appointment and ticket receipt, online ticket payment, and determining the department according to the patient's needs.

The Honourable Vice Chancellor of BSMMU, Professor Dr Shahinul Alam, and Honourable Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Md attended the meeting. Abul Kalam Azad, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Development) Dr Md. Mujibur Rahman Haolder, Treasurer Professor Dr Nahrin Akhtar, Registrar Professor Dr. . Md. Nazrul Islam, Proctor Dr Sheikh Farhad, Controller of Examinations Professor Dr Md. Zillur Rahman, Director of ICT Cell Professor Dr AKM Aktaruzzaman, Private Secretary to the Honourable Vice-Chancellor Dr Md. Ruhul Quddus Biplob, Programmer of ICT Cell Md. Maruf Hossain, Assistant Engineer Md. Mahmudul Quader and others were present.
