Hult Prize 2024-25 Kicks off at SUST

The Hult Prize, one of the world's most prestigious platforms for student entrepreneurs, has officially launched its 2024-25 on-campus programme at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). This year's competition challenges students to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit and develop innovative solutions to address pressing global issues.

Participants can register online from 3 to 10 February 2025 for the Hult Prize at SUST. Offline registration will also be available from 5 to 10 February at a designated tent location in Arjuntala, SUST. Students are encouraged to register early to secure their spot in this highly competitive programme.

For abstract submission, participants must submit their project abstracts between 7 and 10 February 2025. The abstract should outline the team's innovative idea and its potential to create a meaningful impact on global challenges. Each team must have a minimum of two and a maximum of four members. Only one member per team can be from another university, and this individual will represent SUST in the competition. This requirement ensures a diverse yet cohesive team dynamic, fostering collaboration and innovation.

The on-campus round of the Hult Prize at SUST features a total prize pool of Tk 30,000. Winners of this round will advance to the next stages of the global Hult Prize competition, where they can compete for a chance to win $1 million in seed funding to turn their ideas into reality.

As part of the programme, an inspiring session on business idea generation will be held on 5 February 2025 at 5:30 pm at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. The keynote speaker for this session will be Tarif Mohammed Khan, a renowned mentor, coach, and startup strategist. The session promises to be an invaluable opportunity for participants to gain insights, refine their ideas, and prepare for the competition.
