Green Delta Insurance declares 25% cash dividend
Green Delta Insurance PLC has announced a 25% cash dividend for its shareholders for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
The declaration was made during the company's 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was held virtually on Thursday, 27 March 2025, via an online conferencing and broadcasting platform.
Ms Shamsun Nahar Begum Chowdhury, Chairperson of Green Delta Insurance, chaired the meeting. Sponsors, members of the Board of Directors, and many shareholders were in attendance.

In her address, the Chairperson expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the shareholders for their unwavering support and trust in the company's sustained growth. She also thanked the Green Delta family for their dedication and concerted efforts in maintaining uninterrupted client services and operational excellence.
Ms Farzanah Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance PLC, expressed her appreciation to the shareholders for their continued confidence, which has helped the company retain its leadership position in the insurance sector since its inception. She also profoundly thanked the employees for their relentless commitment during challenging times.
Highlighting the company's future vision, she reaffirmed Green Delta's ambition to deliver entirely digitised, client-centric insurance solutions more efficiently. She pledged continued innovation and excellence in service delivery to ensure financial stability and sustainable growth for the company.
Mr Nasir A. Choudhury, Advisor and Founding Managing Director of Green Delta Insurance, also expressed his sincere appreciation to the shareholders for their steadfast support.
During the virtual AGM, shareholders lauded the company's strong governance, effective management practices, attractive dividend declaration, and detailed and informative 2024 Annual Report.
