Grameenphone and Shukhee partner to expand digital healthcare access

Grameenphone has entered into a strategic partnership with Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions to facilitate easier and more affordable access to healthcare services for customers across the country. Through this collaboration, Grameenphone users will now be able to access medical consultations and other health services via the Shukhee platforms developed by Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions.

The agreement was signed at GPHouse by Kaustubh Vats, Chief Procurement Officer of Grameenphone, and Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions. Senior officials from both organisations, including Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone, and Mohammad Solaimun Rasel, Chief Technology and Business Officer of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, were present at the ceremony.

With this partnership, Grameenphone customers can choose from a variety of healthcare packages and consult with doctors seamlessly, anytime and from anywhere. Customers will also have the convenience of paying for consultations and services directly from their mobile balance—a significant step forward in digital healthcare innovation.

Grameenphone will continue to drive consistent innovation to support Bangladesh's journey towards becoming a digitally empowered nation."

Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, added, "This is a groundbreaking step in expanding digital healthcare in Bangladesh. Shukhee is dedicated to providing effective and innovative technology-based healthcare solutions. We believe this initiative will make quality healthcare more accessible to Grameenphone's vast customer base and beyond."

Grameenphone continues its commitment to promoting a better digital lifestyle, and this new collaboration with Shukhee is a significant milestone on that path. Further details of the healthcare packages will soon be available on the Shukhee website and the MyGP app.
