Frobel Academy marks mother language day with road-safety initiative
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, learners of Frobel Academy designed and painted a child-friendly zebra crossing beside Bhella Baper Ghata on the Oxygen–Kuwaish adjacent road, near Anonnya R/A, under Shikarpur Union in Hathazari, Chattogram, on 7 February 2026.
The initiative was undertaken as part of "Design for Change" under the aProCH project. Frobel Academy said the activity aimed to promote civic responsibility among children by encouraging them to contribute to road safety and public spaces in the city.
Frobel Academy is a Cambridge Associate and a STEM-accredited school, offering education from class one through O and A levels. The institution said it follows an inclusive approach and integrates children with special needs, including Down syndrome and autism, in mainstream classrooms.
Sabeen Aameir, co-founder and director of Frobel Academy, and Nusrat Khan, head of school, attended the event along with teachers and staff members to encourage the learners.
