foodpanda organises free health camp for delivery partners

foodpanda Bangladesh, the country's leading online food and grocery delivery platform, recently organised a free health camp for its delivery partners in collaboration with Shukhee, a brand under Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions.
Held at Foodpanda's Gulshan hub (Kaderia Tower), the initiative was part of its flagship programme, Panda Hearts, which aims to improve the overall well-being of its delivery partners. The camp provided doctor consultations, along with personalised wellness advice and basic diagnostic services such as blood pressure measurement, BMI assessment, and diabetes testing — all free of charge.
Riders who attended also received prescriptions and guidance for follow-up care, making preventive healthcare more accessible to a workforce that often operates under challenging conditions.
"Our riders are at the core of our operations, and their well-being is a top priority for us," said Mukitur Khan, Head of Logistics at Foodpanda Bangladesh. "Through our Panda Hearts programme, we aim to create a supportive environment where riders feel valued and cared for. Initiatives like this health camp reflect our ongoing commitment to their health so they can continue delivering excellent service to customers every day."
Panda Hearts is designed around five focus areas: safety, well-being, personal development, community, and welfare perks. The programme includes flexible earning opportunities as well as access to healthcare, insurance, and online skill development resources.
In May, Food Panda Bangladesh signed an MoU with Shukhee to expand healthcare and insurance benefits for delivery partners — a move aligned with its broader mission of improving the quality of life for its gig workforce.
