foodpanda and City Bank team up for seamless Amex payments

foodpanda Bangladesh and City Bank have signed a strategic partnership to enhance the digital payment experience for American Express (Amex) cardholders, paving the way for a more seamless, secure, and rewarding customer journey.
Under the agreement, City Bank will be directly integrated as a Payment Gateway (PGW) partner on the foodpanda platform, ensuring quicker and more reliable transactions for Amex users. The partnership will also introduce exclusive deals and offers to provide greater value to cardholders.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at City Bank Centre in Gulshan-1. Arup Haider, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking at City Bank, and Jamal Yusuff Zuberi, Director of Finance at foodpanda Bangladesh, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. Other senior officials, including Tauhidul Alam, Head of Cards at City Bank; Zahir Raihan, Head of Enterprise; and Adnan Faruqi, Head of Ads & Partnerships at foodpanda, were also present.
