City Bank supports measles ICUs at public hospitals
City Bank PLC has extended support to critical paediatric care facilities at two leading public healthcare institutions amid a growing measles outbreak affecting children across the country.
At Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, City Bank is equipping the hospital's dedicated measles intensive care unit with vital, life-saving medical equipment.
The bank is also providing essential medical equipment to the measles-focused paediatric intensive care unit at Chattogram Medical College Hospital, supporting healthcare professionals treating severely ill children.
This initiative follows City Bank's earlier contribution to establishing a high-dependency unit at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute.
Together, these interventions have strengthened more than 40 critical care and specialised treatment beds across public healthcare institutions in Bangladesh.
These initiatives underscore City Bank's broader commitment to inclusive, sustainable social development, with a continued emphasis on healthcare, women and youth empowerment, and community well-being.
City Bank reaffirmed its dedication to investing in initiatives that strengthen communities and deliver lasting social impact.
