Enhancing Eid festivity with bkash

The sighting of the new moon, a new dress, Eid prayer, delicious food, the presence of loved ones, and last but not least, exchanging salami fulfils the joy of Eid.

Thanks to the advancement of technology, Eid salami has also become digital nowadays. The country's most extensive mobile financial services (MFS) provider, bKash, has recently become the preferred mode of exchanging salami. Consequently, the discussion of the slogan 'Eid er Chand Akashe, Salami Din bKash-a' in social media indicates the popularity of digital salami through bKash. Besides, in the disguise of sending salami from the bKash app, the integrated text message expresses emotion and caters to restoring relations with loved ones who have not been in communication for a long time.

From cities to the countryside, the innovative feature of sending salami from the bKash app's 'send money' option has gained popularity among people from all walks of life. Thus, sending salami with a greeting card has become essential to the Eid celebration. Besides, the 'group send money' feature in the bKash app will further simplify salami exchange by allowing the simultaneous sending of salami to many people.

Those who want to send a salami to many people can easily use the group send money feature in the bKash app. For this, customers can create a salami-sending group by clicking on the send money icon of the bKash app and tapping the group send money option to add a maximum of 7 numbers. Then, customers need to input the total amount of money to be sent to the group, and if customers want, they can also send the exact amount equally to each number or send different amounts to each number. A customer can create multiple groups to send salami.

When sending a salami, any customer can select one of the colourful Eid cards available in the bKash app and add a message expressing their feelings, affection, and love. The messages can be written in Bengali and English.

The bKash app's request money feature has become the most effective weapon for salami hunters. Anyone can send salami requests to their loved ones individually or in groups by tapping the `Request Money' icon. The request recipient can send the salami by agreeing to the request from the notification or the request money dashboard of the bKash app.

Meanwhile, customers can purchase a preferred Send Money bundle from the 'My bKash' section of the bKash app to reduce the cost of sending salami to multiple people through the Send Money feature. Customers can purchase 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 Send Money bundles. Each bundle has a 30-day validity.
